The Revival is:
A restoration of the body of believers in the American creed to a vital relationship with our Vision for the nation, after a period of decline.
- A return to the Spirit that weeps at thoughts of what slipped through our fingers in 1968.
- The invocation of Abraham Lincoln, Bobby Kennedy and especially the words of Martin Luther King on August 28, 1963 on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial:
I have a dream that one day, this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed. We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal.
- An answered call to idealism in our politics, popular culture and personal dealings that rejects cynicism, selfishness, sensationalism and greed, and seeks instead to affirm the human spirit and the dignity of our fellow men, women and children, everywhere in the world.
